Urban Belly

You may remember a post a while back about my friend and fellow photog, Emily Anderson. Emily is not only a super talented photographer, but she is also the cutest little mama I have probably ever seen! Can you believe she is preggo with her fourth baby? In five years??? I mean really - I looked like that the moment I found I was pregnant with #2 :) Hahaha, okay, well maybe not that early, but her bump is seriously adorable (and tiny!) Emily's kids got the cute gene too and are always so much fun to photograph. I can't wait until she does our family pics in September!!

Brand New

This was a super sweet two-part session! Baby C's mom called and asked if we could get some shots of her in the hospital - 10 hours old! Of course, how could I say no to that?! Is there anything more precious and perfect than a brand new baby? I think not :) We did a follow up session at home the following week and I was amazed to see how much she had already changed! Enjoy this precious time mom & dad, it goes by so quickly :)

Twinkies!

I had just the best time photographing these twin baby girls! Everyone knows I have girl envy (being the mother of two very boyish-boys) and so TWINS just sends it into overdrive. The toys, the decorating, the clothes!!! These little bundles of cuteness were so fun, I loved watching them interact with each other and seeing how their individual personalities shined!

75th Birthday Celebration!

I was so honored to be asked to photograph this very special 75th birthday celebration (which happened to fall on the 4th of July - what a fantastic birthday!). This was an awesome family, super cute kiddos who were NOT shy in front of the camera (I love that!) and lots and lots of love for a very special grandma :) Enjoy your sneak peek!

Marma-Mentorship

I have returned from Chicago fully Marmalized :) a BIG thank you to Marianne of Marmalade Photography, for an amazing day of learning, chatting, inspiration and fun! I have hundreds of ideas buzzing in my head and am so excited to go full throttle with them. Part of my mentorship involved watching Mare work with her subjects, how she chooses locations and finds light. Nothing short of amazing, I tell you. I snapped a few quick ones while following her around, I swear I really think my photos are better just being around her LOL! Here are a few of my favorites:
